It's not often you come across a great donut. SloDoCo makes the best and the selection is outstanding. It's not your average donut shop!
Since moving to SLO, I was curious about this place. I finally got a chance to try it a few weeks ago and it loved it! The staff greeted me and have been very kind each time I come in. They even remembered me and I have only been there a few times! The donuts are great and the fun creations they have stand out. I tried their cereal donuts and these galaxy donuts they had and the taste and texture was delicious! Their other donuts are just as good. In particular, the maple pillow filled with Nutella (or other flavors such as pumpkin spice) tasted amazing! This donut alone is a major reason as to why I come back. I normally always get apple fritters when I enter a donut place but this donut has won me over. I always make it a a point to get this donut when come through. I definitely recommend this place and will continue to come here.
Wonderful selection of doughnuts & friendly staff
SloDoCo Donuts have raised the donut shop bar. Late night hours and creative donut concoctions. Looks like a popular place for college kids to study. Gluten free options available. I had a great Chai Latte, maple leaf donut. crumble glazed and gluten free chocolate fruity pebbles donuts. Good stuff, Maynard.
This location is my favorite, the donuts are always fresh and the associates are always friendly, attentive, and don't mind helping you out with suggestions. A lot of the local university student come here for a late night snack, hangout, and most of all study. I make a 30 min trip to come here almost every other week with my friends and family. We love to support this local business!
So I kinda have this life long vendetta against donuts in general and as a concept, they took everything from me, the house, the kids, even the dog. But even so I will still venture over here, I tell myself I will study here, do I? Not really, next time though, I tell myself every time I go here to "Study". The staff is great!
We ordered a maple and chocolate raised, donut holes, a mocha, and tea. Everything was ready quickly and tasted great.
I was born and raised in Cali. It feels like we grew up on donuts and had great donut shops everywhere. Now I live in New York. They have Dunkin, that’s it. On every corner… some of my friends out there don’t even know what maple bars are. When I describe to them a top tier Cali donut shop, SloDoCo is what comes out of my lips and heart. The selection is incredible and they always taste so good.
Went to school at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and loved this place then, unsurprisingly still love it now!! Great atmosphere and donuts. Will always stop here when I'm the area. Plus love bringing people here!
